Any idea why the moose vamoosed? It looks like quite a nice exhibit for them.
I looked for them in Yellowstone and Alaska, but only ended up seeing them at the Alaska Zoo. Apparently they are pretty common around Anchorage because we heard a traffic report on a local radio station advising locals that there was a moose and calf on Blahblah Street, so to look out for them...it was mentioned as if it was a daily occurrence, which it probably is.

No idea, but you can beleive I was pissed when I got through the whole zoo, only to find a lack of moose. It and the waldrapp ibis where the two species I was really looking forward to. I may email the zoo to look for an answer though.
