When were these photos taken, as the Humboldt Penguin exhibit has now been closed?

I believe they were taken in late October 2012. I just realized I had them on my computer and thought I would put them up. I haven't been to RWPZ since the exhibit has closed. Any reason in particular why it did?

It is actually still open. I went there this past week. I only saw one penguin and the ever prominent cormorant.

Huh, is it really? I heard they were renovating it for a new species that I don't know of, so it's strange to hear that one penguin and the cormorant are still there.

I really miss this exhibit, and the old Arctic Fox exhibit next to it. The expanded farmyard was such a disappointing replacement.
