I know this is an old picture, but does anybody know what species make up this hybrid? I first thought Blue and Gold x Scarlet, but the red above the bill and the greenish head suggests military or red-fronted?
I doubt it's a first generation hybrid, more likely the offspring of a hybrid to pure bird, or even hybrid to hybrid. American breeders love their hybrid macaws.
