July 15th, 2012. Social Building Here there is a focus on how living things relate to each other and to their environment, and first up were river otters. These little critters are found at practically every single American zoo and this time around their exhibit was a little on the small side but they are consistent crowd-pleasers regardless of their surroundings. A 6-foot long fish tank seemed simple enough at first glance but it was positioned so that one could gaze at the fish and also see a river otter swim past in the background. Bravo! The 4 fish species were: bluegill, golden shiner, yellow bullhead and white sucker.
