Amur Tiger Exhibit (Huge Enclosure)

July 15th, 2012. Amur tigers have a very steep habitat that has plenty of mature trees, boulders near the enormous viewing windows, and the exhibit slopes away from the public area so at one point I was looking down upon 5 tigers in the forest. The mother and trio of 14 month-old cubs had at least an acre or more to themselves, while the father had a separate enclosure adjacent to the main one.

I never really noticed the exhibit behind the main one until yesterday when I visited. Toma, the adult male was back there. It's nice he has access to the outside when the mother and her grown cubs are on exhibit.
