Emperor Penguins inside the Lichtenstein Penguin Cove
I can't say for certain, but I'm fairly sure those are king penguins

You know I wasn't really certain, since it was back in October of last year.
They appeared rather large for Kings but you could be right. Now we'll hear from all the experts.

Sorry Ituri, but my 16 yr. old son, the "Penguin Fanatic" votes Emperors. I'm sticking to my original choice! And yes, they're not the only species in the photo, but the most prominent.

Update: He just brought out one of his Penguin books. They're definitely Emperors!

Anyone else care to respond?

And we have DVD copies of "March of the Penguins" and "Happy Feet".:D

Then St Louis has been sneaky, because previously emperor penguins could only be found in 3 places in the WORLD. Sea World San Diego, an aquarium in Japan, and Antarctica.

My money is still on Aptenodytes patagonica

ISIS agrees with me as well.

Checking Wikipedia, I'd now have to agree with you Ituri. The "Fanatic" does as well, with head down.:(
