Carmine Bee-eater Signage - Rivers Edge

Is there any other signage for this exhibit?

Only this is ghastly.

You can pick up a pamphlet at the begining of the exhibit giving details of the exhibit and animals

Surely that costs more than just putting up decent signs?

One of my pet hates is poor labelling - even if they just added scientific name, distribution and diet (which admittedly is implied by the animal's name in this case) and made the image a bit more accurate it would improve it no end.

Though I agree that a good sign would make this better, and the average guest would be more likly to read a sign, the signs here are used in the theming of this exhibit.

To my mind 'theming' is not an excuse - partly because you can theme a good sign just as well as a rubbish one.

Does this sign relate to this aviary? http://www.zoochat.com/602/carmine-bee-eater-aviary-179706/

I'm sure it's a perfectly good aviary but it's hardly full landscape immersion - no excuse not to provide a proper sign.

Probably my least favorite exhibit in all the Rivers Edge section. Viewing was quite poor, at least during morning hours when I was there.

I agree. The exhibit is not that bad, but compared to all of the other incredible exhibits, it just doesn't stack up.
