I uploaded approximately 25 photos of Sea Lion Sound and it is a strong contender for the best pinniped exhibit that I've ever seen. The crystal-clear underwater viewing, the various angles that the animals can be viewed at from above water in what is a huge slice of land, and then the acrylic tunnel is the icing on the cake of what is a superb exhibit. I got all of my photos early in the morning with scarcely a visitor in sight, but later in the day the underwater tunnel was jammed to the rafters with strollers, kids and their parents. Families were absorbed watching sea lions swim over their heads and the different levels of water in the exhibit is a nice touch for both the inhabitants and more than 3 million annual visitors.
