Those old Bear grottoes are the worst remains, in a zoo that has an excellent mix of both classic old and innovative new. Definitely ready for renovation.
The new polar bear exhibit only took space from the old polar bear grotto, if I remember correctly. However, the new grizzly bear habitat will be over most of them.
@DavidBrown: Yes. The polar bear exhibit replaced the two eastern grottoes, and the brown bear exhibit currently under construction is replacing the two western grottoes. The entrance to Penguin & Puffin Coast is in between the two.
