Does anyone know what the status of San Antonio Zoo's Africa Live plans is? At one point there were rumors of a big African elephant exhibit and savanna with white rhinos and giraffes if I recall correctly (which I may not)?
Is there any sign that projects resembling that are still possibly in the future, or have San Antonio Zoo's plans changed?
@DavidBrown The savanna with white rhinos and giraffes did happen, although I'm not sure if it's considered a third phase of Africa Live. On the map it's just marked as "The Savanna". As for African elephants, unless they build on the land that is atop the edge of the quarry, I sincerely doubt that will happen. Lucky's been living for a very long time and appears to be content living with Karen and Nicole.
