Philippine clouded rats- quarntine area

i wonder if anyone can tell me what their status in Europe and in the US in captivity?

In Europe, Prague zoo started an ESB for this species last year, all its participants can be found on ISIS: Wien, Jihlava, Poznan, Ostrava and Riga. Both Poznan and Prague brought their first young up, the one in Jihlava didn´t survive. In US, NY Bronx runs succesfull breeding for many years, their offspring was loaned to some other US collections.

Are these the same as Northern Luzon Giant Cloud Rats?

Newquay Zoo have bred two offspring in the last year. The older one was recently sent to Frankfurt. They are presently off show to the public. The European population is growing steadily.

At the moment ( dec. 2019 ) kept at 32 European collections and even in the exotic pet trade I've already seen it .
