Arizona Docent

panoramic view

November 6, 2013.
Taken from a viewing platform on the upper edge of the zoo called Treetops Overlook. The view used to be blocked a lot more before they torn down the walk through aviary on the left side of the path. There was also a tall black footed cat exhibit on the left (which I suspect was originally a raptor aviary due to the shape). You can still see the cement holding area in the foreground. The front right exhibit on the path is for cheetah and the back right exhibit (with the thatched dome structures) is for white rhino. Not visible is did-dik immediately below me, bateleur eagle to the right of me and bat eared fox behind me.
