Are talapoins common in European zoos? Off of the top of my head I've only ever seen them perhaps 2-3 times in my visits to 180 different zoos and aquariums. I believe that Little Rock Zoo and Audubon Zoo have the species, but after that they are practically extinct in American zoos.
Young DeBrazza's and Hamlyn's look very much like talapoins, IMHO. London had them in the Clore some 40 years ago - can't remember seeing them in the UK since.

They are still rare over here, Northerns are at thirteen zoos and Southerns at two (both of which also have Northerns). Seven of those thirteen are in Spain (including both holders of Southerns).
