August 2008. This is the 500th photo of the zoo here at ZooBeat, but hopefully other people will add loads more in the future. The palm trees and sunny weather make it the perfect climate for North America's #1 zoo.

Mario, you simply have to attend this zoo!!! You only live 2 hours away, and with the almost 30 species of hornbill there you'd be in paradise. When you do go, hopefully next spring or summer, then you should seriously spend $40 and get the 2-day pass as a single day makes it difficult to see everything. However, if you go in the summer then you have close to 12 hours on the grounds as the zoo is open quite late. By then Elephant Odyssey should be open as well.
I will definitely be visiting and I'm thinking of getting the year pass which will be much cheaper because I'm planning on visiting 3-4 times next year.
