Judging from the size of the trees my guess is this is one of the old Horn and Hoof or Pig Canyon enclosures. Ituri opened in the mid-90s and I doubt the trees could have grown so large in that time, especially with forest buffalos trampling any tree roots
We will have to wait for djaeon to tell us which part of the zoo the hog was located, but in mentioning San Diego's infamous canyon enclosures it always strikes me as funny how many different species have been held in them over the decades. Whenever there isn't a place for a particular animal at the zoo it can be placed into one of the canyon grottoes!
It is indeed in Ituri Forest, where the buffalo used to be. It's behind the area with the Allen's Swamp Monkeys and Spot-necked otters. There's also a Red River Hog in there, but I didn't see him that day.
