Funani was born in 1984 at the Toledo Zoo moving to San Diego in 1995. Her long-time boyfriend Jabba was recently exchanged with the LA Zoo for Otis. Otis took a beating from Funani when introducted and is spending time under the vets care recovering. Funani weighs in at about 3,500 lbs.
