Hippo exhibit - behind the scenes tour

One hippo is put on exhibit each day out front and the other hippo is provided this pool area.

Why are the hippos seperated?

@ Mstickmanp: I'm assuming they are still working on introductions and some zoos practice exhibiting hippos solitarily.

I think it's because Funani has been extremely rough on Otis, and he needs time to himself. San Diego also exhibited Jabba with Funani, so I am sure once Otis and Funani settle their difference and stop heavily sparring with each other, they will put the two on exhibit together.
