Is the exhibit in the foreground for the camels? Or is it the pronghorn area?

Thinking "flinstones house" That looks hugely expensive fake rock! What is the design purpose?

Shade structure, there's also a place for the pronghorn to get away from the camels, which they can crawl into. I think its a nice touch to the exhibit. I think "flintstone house" is what they may have been going for. The whole "theme" of EO is "desert outpost" for a dig site or something.

So as to my original question... the are in front is accessible to both pronghorn and camels?

I am glad to hear San Diego had such lofty aspirations for this $45 million jumble of confusion. Fred's House......now I get it! Where's Wilma?

oh sorry, yes. Its a combined exhibit, that fence I think is just used to acclimate the animals to the exhibit and one another.

So, pronghorn and dromedary camel. Is that all, no horses, asses or bison?

In this exhibit yes, the Asses and Horses are on the other side. Sometimes they take the camels to the other side for people to pet and stuff. The "Pleistocene Petting Zoo" is more of an interactive/educational exhibit for people to touch and learn about the animals.
