It is great to see that the rock hyraxes are still in there with the mongooses and klipspringers. A truly wonderful exhibit even after all these years.
 
I miss the old reptile display that used to be a part of it as well. Had pancake tortoises and sungazers.
 
It was adjacent to but seperate from the main enclosure (klipspringer et al) I think it's now a botanical display.
 
Oh yeah, I remember that. I don't remember when it was taken down though (it escaped my mind b/c it wasn't part of the zoo I regularly go to before), but I think like some time in the early 2000s because I've seen sungazers in Reptile Mesa starting then. Pancake Tortoise are also in Monkey Trails near the reptile vivariums.
