Lost Forest - Ituri Forest - Hippo Viewing Area

This area has African animals, several in notable mixed-species exhibits.

It is amazing at how clear and blue the water is for this exhibit, which is not huge but still a spectacular example of how to effectively showcase hippos in a zoo. Massive, long viewing windows allows for hordes of visitors to see the huge mammals underwater.

Love seeing the hippos underwater!
