You must have been the first one in the gates when they opened and run straight back here to get a shot of the viewing windows without people. Every time I go, no matter what time of year or day, this area is always packed.
arizonadocent, this is actually at dusk, but yes I waited in that area until closing time for some shots of the viewing areas of gorillas and nearby pygmy hippos which are often packed.
