They are cutting through this planter? What a shame. This will definitely add more access into the Heart of the Zoo instead of having to weave around. If they remove the current access and converted that to a planter when doing this, it would be a pretty good alteration to the zoo. The reason why the path goes left is due to the old entrance to Tiger River which doesn't exist anymore.
