And here we have : The number 1 zoo in the US !
Lovely enclosure and very educational selection of animals

The icing on the cake is that this photo probably shows 80% of the exhibit. Urban Jungle (the old Elephant Mesa area) is a total mess.

This is part of the upcharge petting zoo known as "Backstage Safari". These are both education animals.

I don't even visit Urban Jungle/Elephant Mesa anymore.

And I don't think they can pet the Zebra, but its more for close encounters. This Zebra started out as an animal ambassador really young, so its used to humans. The SDZ probably has the most extensive amount of educational animals and their trainers do a very good job in the many years that they have been having wolves and cheetahs as educational animals, they haven't had any huge problems.
