Silvered-Leaf Langur Exhibit

July 26th, 2011.
This large exhibit, which is basically two enclosures combined, housed Gabriella's crested gibbons on my 2008 visit. Does anyone remember whether the zoo's binturongs used to be with the lion-tailed macaques or the gibbons? Either way those stinky animals are now reduced to living in small metal cages near the Outback section of the zoo.

Many years ago I watched a binturong looking very stressed as it hissed at the lion-tailed macaques it "shared" an exhibit with in Sun Bear Forest.

The Binturongs used to be with the Lion-tailed Macaques. I believe that this exhibit was originally built for Douc Langurs.
