When this exhibit first opened, it was really great for a month or two. That is because the trees were very dense with leaves. I remember seeing it and getting cool photos of the monkeys in the trees. Unfortunately, the monkeys soon ate/destroyed all the leaves, so it looks a bit barren.

This exhibit is always immensely popular due to the fact that the otters and monkeys are extremely active and engage with each other constantly. On my 4 visits to San Diego Zoo since 2006 I have consistently paused to admire the antics of the critters in this large enclosure and often there is quite a crowd peering at the animals.
