Corner of Urban Jungle.

Am I correct in thinking this is the front of the walkway to rhino and giraffe (former elephant) area? If so, what is going in here?

This is part of the Australian Outback development.

I talked to an employee at the zoo today who is usually a reliable source of information. He said that this is where the new koala exhibit will be and the Tasmanian devil exhibit and 2 new aviaries will be going in where the koalas used to be. I will try to post pictures as progress is made.

Wait are you telling me they are gonna be able to import Tasmanian Devils? CALL THE PRESS!!!

I asked an educator about the Devils. She said that is their plan but the new Australian Outback will not be completed until April 2013.
