This whole area seems like a nice redevelopment. It was also a bit of a surprise to me. Considering how far ahead they announce and fundraise for other exhibits (including the much delayed Safari Park tigers), this one seems to have just sprung up suddenly with little or no notice. (I am a member BTW and I do not recall seeing any advance announcements in the member magazine).
