Does anybody know how the kiwi house fits in with the new Outback area? Will it be kept as it is, or has it been knocked down as part of the construction zone?
The last I had heard, the Kiwi House was to be demolished. The outback will include an ADA compliant ramp trail similar to the path near Owens Aviary that will lead guests down to the bottom of Africa Rocks where the old Kiwi Trail was.

I just visited the zoo on Saturday and the kiwi house and a kiwi are still on the maps that they are giving out, although still encased in the construction zone so could not tell what its current status is.
