Dire Wolf statue Elephant Odyssey

The dire wolf was about one-third larger than the modern grey wolf. More dire wolves than any other species have been discovered in the tar pits. There are several new statues in Elephant Odyssey. I wish some of their modern equivalents were there as well. Andean Bears, Gray Wolves, Cheetahs?

There are grey wolves and a cheetah over in the Urban Jungle area; I'm not sure when the zoo last had Andean bears.

I only found out quite recently that this is a real, though extinct, species. I initially thought George R. R. Martin made them up for Game of Thrones.
