View from the Chairlift

The path visible is the steep path going up the same slope that the chairlift goes up.
The large building is the Feline and Reptile Pavilion with the Giant Salamander house in front of it (looks like a low grassy hill from above) with the Cheetah enclosure on the left of.

Thanks for all of the great photos of Prague Zoo and I appreciate your comments that you've added to many of the images. Are many of the visitor paths fairly steep? Does it take a full 8 hours to see the zoo?

If you look at the map SL (here: https://www.zoopraha.cz/en/before-visit/prague-zoo-map) you can see that the zoo is basically built over a hill, with the Plains and Australia areas on the flattish top of the hill, and the Across the Continents, Northern Forest and Rock Outcrop on the slopes, each steeper than the previous. The Indonesian Jungle and Polar Bears are also up on the hill. The rest of the zoo is more or less flat, with the southern area close to the river too low and therefore floodprone. The paths are a bit steep in places, but nothing too difficult to manage.

I think it needs at least a full day, and probably deserves two for a properly detailed inspection.

I thought it was really cool that the map had contour lines marked!

As zooboy28 said, the only paths that are really steep are ones going up between the bottom area of the zoo (near the river) and the top area (away from the river), so four really steep paths.

I spent a day and a half at the zoo, so around 12 hours, though you could probably do it in one day if you rushed bits. (on the second half of the second day I visited the nearby Morsky Svet aquarium).
