One of the Hillside Hoofstock Enclousures

Taken 26th October 2015
The best enclosures for hoofstock that I have ever seen. Possibly the best in the world?
This one is for West Caucasian Tur.

The enclosure might well be the best that you've ever seen for hoofstock but how easy is it to locate the inhabitants? Are there many hoofstock yards that are built on steep slopes at the zoo?

I didn't actually have any trouble spotting the inhabitants. There is viewing from above and below and I went past the bottom of these enclosures three times and the top twice over two days and saw a few animals every time.
The indoor area is located at the base of the cliff right next to the path and the food was placed there so I saw a few individuals in that area every time.

There are three hoofstock enclosures on a cliff like this:

One for Himalayan Tahr (http://www.zoochat.com/416/one-hillside-hoofstock-enclosures-429213/)
One for West Caucasian Tur (pictured above)
And one for Barbary Sheep and Barbary Macaques (see attached)
There are also a couple of bird of prey aviaries.

(With the attached picture, there is a Barbary sheep visible towards the top of the enclosure which gives an idea of size and also of how visible they are. The wall above is a path - the same path that the main picture above was taken from).

I'd like to see an enclosure like the one attached for Snow Leopards.

Bronx has their enclosure built into a naturally rocky and steep area, but nothing like this.
