November 2013. This fantastic exhibit contains Johnston?s Crocodile as well as an impressive selection of endangered turtles: Chinese Stripe-necked Turtle, Fly River Turtle, Painted Terrapin, Narrow-headed Softshell Turtle, and Malaysian Giant Turtle.

What happened to the gharials that used to live here? I remeber a pair in 2009
 
There is a gharial exhibit in the Tiger River exhibit complex in Lost Forest now.
 
DavidBrown, when Tiger River opened in 1988 the exhibit that currently houses gharial and turtles was for false gavial (AKA false gharial). I think they were in there for several years. The exhibit in this picture was built about a decade later and housed gharial originally. It replaced 3 or 4 very basic crocodilian pond exhibits that were probably built at the same time as the other reptile yards near it that still exist.
