Wow, I need to get down to the zoo and see the coconut crab. Is it in the invertebrate house, Betsy?
 
According to an earlier post by Betsy,the coconut crab is located in Monkey Tails and Forest Trails.

Yes, in the "African" section of the complex (next to the slender snouted crocs and pygmy hippos). Well, I guess the Indian Ocean does define one edge of Africa....

Yes well that doesn't really help the green tree python that has apparently taken up residence in the same section.

green tree pythons come from New Guinea. The western half of New Guinea is Indonesian territory. Madagascar was originally settled by Indonesian seafarers. Madagascar is off the coast of Africa. Ergo, green tree pythons can be displayed in an African zone :p
