It is across from the 4d theater "Ice Age" (as opposed to the 4D theater "Rio" which is in the children's zoo). This is the exhibit on your left hand side when you exit the Skyfari at the top by Polar Ridge (or Northern Frontier as I think they call it now).

I don't have anything good to say about this. It has a viewing area at least, but its going to be tiny. It could be bigger too. Circulation issues are terrible in this spot and they haven't addressed that at all. Nor did they even consider the ramp coming from the skyfari station.

The zoo is usually pretty good at putting animals together that are found in the same geographic area...so why put a Mountain Lion by the Polar Bears? Interesting.

That location is also adjacent to Elephant Odyssey, which fits perfectly.

Considering that this area of the zoo is one of the only areas in the zoo featuring North American animals and its called the "Northern Frontier" this is a better fit than keeping them in the soon to be "African Rocks". Also, it looks like it will be across from the maned wolves, so it could be an "American Predators" exhibit. Is that a stretch?

Two refurbished old exhibits would not be enough to constitute a new theme. This is the old "back area" of the zoo so it does not really matter. This exhibit doesn't look like it was designed to be spectacular. It seems rather lacking in intentionality as if its only purpose was to hold mountain lions so people could see them.
