Mountain Lion exhibit

June 16, 2014
Where is the exact location of this brand-new exhibit? Is the enclosure similar in size to the Amur leopard exhibit that was built in 2011?

It's right next to the sky ride near Polar Plunge. Size-wise it was larger than many Puma exhibits I've seen. An overall nice looking and adequate exhibit.

It is probably twice the size of the leopard exhibit built in 2011, which now holds Caracal to better fit the African Kopje theme.

Has anyone seen this at night (summer night opening)? In the old cat canyon, they had the pumas and snow leopards under soft blue spotlights to simulate moonlight. It was still dark but I liked the effect. Just wondering if they did anything like that here?

(Here is a photo from Cat Canyon at night).
