More and more common due to the breeding successes of the Dallas World Aquarium. Around 5-6 US zoos (probably more now!) and 5 European zoos keep them, along with Jurong Birdpark. This is the more common of the two species, the guianan CotR is only kept at two collections (Walsrode and Dallas) but a third should soon be going into the species!
