This is one of the older exhibits in the zoo. I'm not sure what it originally held but in recent years it was home to an elderly lioness. After she passed, I believe the hyenas were in there. This is only temporary until his exhibit on Tiger Trail is renovated. I will be glad when I don't have to photograph him through the netting!
