Mountain Anoa - 1990

i know the artis zoo in amsterdam used to have mountain anoas, but i am not sure if they are still around

Well I found the answer, Artis Zoo does not have Mountain anoas (Bubalus quarlesi) anymore, the only zoos in Europe that currently have them are Berlin Zoo, Krefeld Zoo, and Skaerup Zoo, there might also a few places in their home range that have them, but I am not sure if that is the case, does anybody know ?

Also I am not convinced that this specimen in the photo is a Mountain anoa (Bubalus quarlesi), because Mountain anoas are usually shaggier and smaller

The above posts make this clear ungulate nerd, they say than San Diego never had mountain anoa.

Berlin Zoo no longer has Mountain Anoa, according to ZooTierListe.
