These photos were mostly taken on several photo caravans, but a few were from the Wgasa Bushline Monorail.

Wow, Congo buffalo at the park, and in the South Africa field exhibit no less...

Yes, I believe there were only two at the time, and I remember seeing them at the zoo's Horn and Hoof Mesa some years later, so they may have been the same animals moved.

Toronto used to have a fairly prolific breeding herd of dwarf congo buffalo but they were phased out to make room for warthogs in 1994? (Maybe 1991/92)

The two are mixed to this day (along with various other African ungulates) at Woburn.

It looks a bit desertic for forest animals.
I understand the presence of Gemsbok, less the Congo Buffaloes.
