Wow, Congo buffalo at the park, and in the South Africa field exhibit no less...
 
Yes, I believe there were only two at the time, and I remember seeing them at the zoo's Horn and Hoof Mesa some years later, so they may have been the same animals moved.
 
This is an interesting mix.... Great Job who ever took and uploaded these photos. Well done Geomorph.
 
Toronto used to have a fairly prolific breeding herd of dwarf congo buffalo but they were phased out to make room for warthogs in 1994? (Maybe 1991/92)
 
It looks a bit desertic for forest animals.
I understand the presence of Gemsbok, less the Congo Buffaloes.
