Thanks Ituri! Yeah I'm not going into subspecies name on most of these. I just know the keepers called them Topi and the guidebook we got with the photo caravan called them Topi.
Also here's an excerpt from Wikipedia: "The vernacular name "topi" applies not only to the species but also to two subspecies D. k. jimela and D. k. topi, while the name korrigum or tiang applies to the subspecies D. k. korrigum."
But you may have covered yourself by saying "more specifically" haha.
Alright, here's what I have worked up. In 1985 the Wild Animal Park had 44 taxa of "antelope". In 2011, there were 38 taxa of "antelope". So regarding "antelope" the net loss was only 6 taxa, which isn't too bad. Now if I were to work up caprids or deer, the results would look a lot different.
Here are the lists:

I knew the antelope diversity hadn't suffered too much overall. But just look at some of the species lost. They're not just lost from San Diego, they're either not in captivity at all, or very sparingly.
White-tailed Gnu
Cotton's Oribi
Russian Saiga
Kafue Lechwe
Bay Duiker
West African Bushbuck
Zulu Suni
Not to mention some species that San Diego acquired in between that are no longer there now like the Grey Rhebok (were these ever exhibited at the WAP?) and Jackson's hartebeest. A real shame. And the key was the combined selection between the Zoo and the WAP. It was an ungulate lover's paradise haha.

San Diego Zoo had red-fronted gazelle on exhibit since the mid-90s at least. Steenbok along with Royal Antelope were definitely great additions to San Diego that were otherwise not found in zoos (to my knowledge) before San Diego imported them.
