African Outpost - Lesser Flamingo Mother and Chick

My apologies, I remember the Tram tour pointing out Greater Flamingos in a different exhibit and assume this was the same species.

The Greaters have the much larger lake visible from the Tram, while the Lessers are in the Research Island section of the African Outpost.

Also, good to see that they have bred! jb and I were wondering how successful the park was at breeding them while we were there several weeks before.

What about the flamingos near the Mombasa Lagoon? I can't remember if they're lesser or greater.

I'm not good with names, so if the Mombasa Lagoon is where the Colobus monkeys are then those are indeed Lesser. If it's the one by the entrance then they are Chilean.

The group I'm referring to is near the large lagoon with the waterfall and the shoebill stork, cormorants, and other waterfowl.

I had completely forgotten the Safari Park had Colobus Monkeys. I always keep an eye out but I haven't seen one in about a year. How many does the park have?
