Way, way out of Africa

The SDWAP elephant exhibit is a great place to watch elephants as they have a family herd and lots of room for them to live elephant lives.

The rock structure in the exhibit however resembles nothing that I have seen in actual elephant habitat in Africa. It looks much more like a rock formation that Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock would encounter on another planet in the original Star Trek.

If you see a Gorn or a Klingon while you are at the WAP, run.

I guess it works for the elephants though, as it has been there for several decades now.
