Has this heron caught the duckling? or has it been fed a dead one? If it is the latter I won't feel so bad as if it was the former. I wonder why that is? a death is a death really.
That is a wild heron - there are many wild birds around the lagoon in addition to the captive ones - and the duckling was quite dead, although I'm not sure if it caught it or found it; also not sure what the species of the duckling was!
