Polar Bear Grotto

The only unlandscaped bear grotto.
Is there any indication of what the San Francisco Zoo is planning to do about exhibiting bears once their elderly polar and grizzly bears pass? Is it likely that they will just stop exhibiting bears altogether as they have with elephants?

The grizzly sisters are only 10 years old so they won't be going anywhere in a while. On the other hand, the polar bears are both in their 30s so they are living out the rest of their long life in these outdated WPA era grottos. After that I am not sure what the zoo will do with the 3 polar bear grottos, hopefully they will either majorly renovate the grottos or build a modern exhibit to house the largest land carnivore.
