This is Boone, the zoo\'s three-year old black rhino. He arrived from San Diego last year. If you look just over his ears and past the rock you can see a bit of Elly\'s back.
Nope. No publicly announced plans. Everything is decided behind closed doors and announced after it's finished/completed/whatever. Which I find odd for a zoo with a rather horrible reputation.
For example, the South American rainforest building is closed for yet another renovation. You would think they would would have some snazzy concept art set up around the building in order to whet people's appetites, right? Well, there's nothing aside from a laminated 8"x10" sign saying it'll open again later this year.
