Where is this? Does the building have another name?

I should apologize. I a.) misspelt the building's name. It should be the Koret-Taube South American Tropical Forest. b.) thought the full name was a matter of common knowledge. It's the 1940's-era aviary down the hill from the Terrace Cafe.

This particular image is looking in from the set of doors closest to the pelican pond (which has been rehabbed to -- or always supposed to be -- a billabong). The construction team has done an admirable job at blocking everything off, but near as I can tell the building is merely a frame at this point in time. Nothing remains inside.

I'll keep an eye on its progression.

This is the zoo's South American Tropical Forest.

Thanks for pointing our neighbor in the right direction!
