I suppose that it must have been easy to locate the birds as the cages are fairly barren. Also, it wouldn't be too difficult for visitors to poke their fingers through the wire. Are the birds sort of like "mascots" for Skoda dealership?
Just someone's hobby sideline, I think! Was conveniently placed to join our 'bonus' day that we acquired when we had to add a day to the trip to get the flights to fit - which ended up being Prague Terrarium - Zoo Chleby - Boura/Dymokury - evening in Dvur Kralove. Rather a diverse day!
These may, it seems, soon be historical photos - we were later told the bird element of the operation is to move to a new site over the road in the short-to-medium-term.
