The new exhibit, Window on Washington Waters, which opened to the public in the summer of 2007. This is obviously an overhead shot of the enormous glass tank, which arches far over the heads of visitors. In the renovated Seattle Aquarium entrance, this is the first exhibit in the great hall. There is a diver in the tank for a scheduled feeding session, and it was May 18th, 2008.

That is a big sheet of arcylic... The fact that its is curved and on an angle would only add to it cost... $200,000 - $300,000 minimum I'd guess...
 
Ah Snowleopard, I remember the days when I was well ahead of you in posts and photos...
 
@NZ Jeremy: I remember those days as well, as we joined ZooChat at almost the exact same time in 2007. Then I went on my massive zoo trip and you eased off from spending as much time on this website. You need a zoo vacation to get you rolling again!:)
 
Your right, I should plan a New Zealand wide trip using the list Chlidonais made of NZ Zoos...
