This is so cheesy. Why can't someone open a large marine life park where they don't dress up and do silly shows - but just let people enjoy the beauty of the sea creatures?
The Show is excellent, people can think about Seaworld what tehy want, but the shows are great and I saw never better tarinend animals in ther parks than Seaworld. The teamwork between the walrus, the small clawd otter and the sealion together with the trainers is absolutly phantatstic. Who cares about the trainers clothes ? Its just a show and not bad to the animals.
As far as I know, the walrusses in the shows are not the same you can see in Wild Arctic (or not all of them). So I presume that they must have an off-exhibit behind or within the sealion stadium/theatre.
Generally I agree that the animal show in the Seaworld Parks are far away from being cruel (but mostly also far away from being educational). Although a foreigner, I have been in the Seaworld Parks (San Diego, Orlando and San Antonio) many times and have never seen any violence against an animal - even when they didn't want to follow the signs/orders of the trainers. There is a good relationship what doesn't mean that there is a guarantee for no accidents (as they had in the past, specially with killer whales).
